What grades is Little Spikers for?
This Woodbridge program is designed for young athletes in Grades 1–3.
Does my child need previous volleyball experience?
No. Little Spikers is designed for beginners and young athletes who are just getting started.
What will my child learn?
Athletes are introduced to movement, coordination, ball control, passing, setting, serving basics, teamwork, and communication.
What if my child has never played volleyball before?
That is completely fine. Little Spikers is designed to provide a positive and comfortable first experience with the game.
Is the program competitive?
The focus is on learning, movement, confidence, basic volleyball skills, and having fun.
Will there be game-based activities?
Sessions may include activities and games that help athletes practice skills while staying active and engaged.
What should my child bring?
Comfortable athletic clothing, indoor athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
Can my child continue with Unity after Little Spikers?
Yes. As athletes grow, they may continue into Unity’s Grades 4–6 Development, Grades 7–8 Development, and future competitive opportunities.
