Who is the Markham Grades 4–6 program for?

This program is designed for beginner and developing athletes in Grades 4–6 who want to build stronger volleyball fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and game understanding.

Does my athlete need previous volleyball experience?

No. The Markham Grades 4–6 program is beginner-friendly and designed to help athletes develop their skills through structured weekly training and coaching feedback.

What skills will athletes work on?

Athletes will work on core volleyball skills including:

  • Serving
  • Passing
  • Setting
  • Hitting
  • Movement
  • Ball control
  • Communication
  • Positioning
  • Teamwork
  • Game understanding

The goal is to help athletes become more comfortable and confident on the court.

How long is the program?

The Fall 2026 program includes 12 weeks of volleyball training beginning September 21, 2026.

How long is each training session?

Grades 4–6 athletes train in 90-minute / 1.5-hour sessions.

What is the Early Bird price?

Early Bird registration is $379 for the full 12-week Grades 4–6 program.

Early Bird pricing is available from August 17 through September 7, 2026.

What is the regular price?

Beginning September 8, 2026, the regular price for the 12-week Grades 4–6 program is $429.

Do I need a discount code for Early Bird pricing?

No. The Early Bird price is applied automatically during the Early Bird registration period. No additional coupon code is required.

Can we choose our training day?

Yes. Families select their preferred available training day and location during registration. Availability may depend on remaining program capacity.

Will my athlete train on the same day each week?

Yes. For this program, families select a scheduled weekly session and attend that session throughout the program.

What happens during a typical session?

Athletes work through structured drills, repetitions, coaching feedback, and game-based activities designed to improve fundamental skills and confidence.

Training may include serving, passing, setting, hitting, movement, communication, positioning, and team play.

Will there be game play?

Training includes opportunities for athletes to apply the skills they are learning in game-like situations while developing communication, positioning, and decision-making.

Can this program help prepare my athlete for school volleyball?

Yes. The program helps athletes develop stronger fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and game understanding that can support future school volleyball opportunities.

What should my athlete bring?

Athletes should bring:

  • Clean indoor court shoes
  • Comfortable athletic clothing
  • Water bottle

Any additional instructions will be provided with registration information.

Do we need to complete a form before registering?

Yes. The current registration process requires families to complete the athlete information form before adding the program to cart.

Can we experience Unity before registering?

Yes. Families can explore available free clinics and open gyms to experience Unity, meet coaches, and get on the court before deciding on the next step.
